Chapter Index

Yuqi kept plundering this flower field until it looked so different that it felt like this was a wasteland.

However, at that time something subtly changed.

The main thing that changed was-

“Kyaaaa!” Witch Aiko suddenly pulled out a huge hammer out of her tails, looking closely this was part of her looting spree from the Secret Realm that she never sorted out.

*Whack*

She sent a walking flower with a disgusting face flying.

“Oh, aren’t they cute?” Yuqi chuckled, but then she noticed that some of those flowers that she plundered left behind some strange seeds. Those were not flower seeds, but something much more precious.

‘Herb seeds? Here?’ Yuqi was confused since most Herbs in the Mortal World didn’t produce seeds, or rather they were plucked before they could.

As such, most Herbs were heading towards extinction, since Human Cultivators didn’t treasure them at all!

“C-cute?” Witch Aiko shuddered whenever she looked at those flowers, but what was even worse was the fact that more and more of them kept uprooting themselves and walking towards her!

“They are cute.” Yuqi nodded her head seriously.

“I will tell Feifei that you think this is cute!” Witch Aiko immediately threatened her.

*Cough*

Yuqi awkwardly coughed. She was not prepared for this, and it seemed like Aiko turned quite petty when cornered.

“Just don’t let them capture you.” Yuqi warned Aiko out of the goodness of her heart.

*Whack**Whack*

“No shit!” Witch Aiko cursed at her.

*Whack**Whack**Whack*

She kept playing a flying game with them as she would absolutely not allow them close to her!

“When will this end?!” Witch Aiko complained to Yuqi as she whacked yet another flower away.

“You will have to pulverise them if you want to stop them.” Yuqi helped while she kept draining the juicy, nourishing energy.

“Grrrr.” Witch Aiko had enough of this!

*BOOOM*

She slammed the hammer with her full strength and as you might expect, the dual wielded handle bent quite spectacularly.

Witch Aiko just threw it aside and fished another weapon out of her tails.

This time it was a sharp halberd, which was a bit meh. It was fun crushing them, since she knew that they wouldn’t be able to move, no matter how powerful they were.

‘One good whack and it was over.’ Not only could she send them flying, but she could easily destroy the ground with such a big hammer. ‘I will have to take it with me later.’ She nodded her head seriously.

Yuqi drained the immediate vicinity before standing up.

“Done?” Witch Aiko asked as she whacked yet another walking flower.

“That’s all I can consume for the time being. If you let me rest I will be able to deal with the walking abominations.” Yuqi smiled gently at her.

‘Pot calling the kettle black?’ Witch Aiko couldn’t believe that a FLOWER Demon was saying that. “How long?” She didn’t really want to spend time here.

“An hour?” Yuqi pursed her lips.

“I don’t like this.” Witch Aiko groaned. She would have to use Sun Aiko briefly again. Her main goal was to create a natural molten barrier around them so that Yuqi could rest.

Sighing gently, she turned into Sun Aiko who vaporised everything around them and then used her incarnation to make a molten soil around them. It was also quite effective since the residual energy made those flower bastards flinch quite nicely.

Witch Aiko smiled happily. It seemed like she would have an easy time, but why stop there?

She used a small piece of fire-resistant material to modify her sling. She worried that those walking flowers might pile up and make them miserable later, so it was always a good idea to cut them down!

Or rather in this place, smash them to pieces~!

*Swish*

The first hot rock flew into the head of the walking flower and completely obliterated it. Not only did it keep going, but it also burned anything and everything in its path, allowing a greater crowd control than she expected.

‘If only I at least earned something from this.’ Witch Aiko groaned unhappily, but she couldn’t change this.

After an hour of waiting and sniping, Yuqi opened her eyes only to be surrounded by still molten soil.

“What in the world happened…” Yuqi turned towards the obvious culprit.

“What?” Witch Aiko rolled her eyes at her.

“… Nothing.” Yuqi would rather not ask what happened, lest she regretted it.

“What is the next course of action?” Witch Aiko was tired of these constant bullshits. She swore she would go over to the Nightmare Owl Clan immediately after this, so that she could finally run away if something wrong happened once again.

“Wait until it cools down?” Yuqi pursed her lips.

Witch Aiko summoned her Spiritual Water that was still under merging.

Witch Aiko commanded her Spiritual Water that was still under merging.

Spiritual Water obeyed Aiko and doused the molten soil in it.

It was super effective.

Witch Aiko now created a safe crossing point for both of them.

Witch Aiko pointed both hands towards her marvellous creation.

Yuqi’s lips could only twitch since she knew that this was not the only absurd thing that Aiko could do.

“I should’ve worn boots.” Yuqi complained.

“But you are wearing them?” Witch Aiko always found her statements absurd, but this one just might take the cake.

“This is part of my body, so they can’t really be considered boots.” Yuqi shook her head.

“So… others complained, and you created them, or…?” Witch Aiko was slightly curious about why she was wearing clothes and those kinds of things.

“Perverts…” Yuqi pursed her lips. “For some reason they would always create situations where I would step on their faces or other parts of the body, and it just eventually creeped me out…”

Yuqi shuddered lightly remembering her younger days when she actually allowed something like that to pass.

Well, that was mostly because she could gain vitality from them easier than through battles, but still…

‘My dignity is wounded because of that.’ Yuqi sighed gently inside her mind.

“Gosh…” Witch Aiko had a nauseated feeling. There were only two types that she hated the most. Shameless perverts and masochists.

Shameless perverts because they would bullshit their way into someone else’s underwear and masochists since you couldn’t really beat them up to punish them for their behaviour.

Witch Aiko was distraught, but it was not something she could affect.

“I get you.” Witch Aiko patted her shoulder like she understood her.

“…” Yuqi chose not to say or ask anything once again, just in case she regretted it.

She then guided Aiko towards their destination, or rather, there was no destination.

There was a severe lack of any kinds of monuments that would allow them to distinguish where they were, but it was even worse since the ‘area’ they could see was limited by a strange ‘fog’.

“This place was probably some kind of Human Cultivator’s garden.” Yuqi surmised, considering she was able to find actual seed all around the flowers

“What makes you say that?” Witch Aiko couldn’t figure out why this travesty would be called a garden.

“Because I was able to find some seeds.” Yuqi showed them to Aiko, before sticking them back between her boobs.

“Whoa…” Witch Aiko didn’t see that many seeds, so this was quite nice. “Can they be used?”

“En.” Yuqi checked them, and while they were currently inactive, a bit of energy from her should be enough to activate them.

“I wonder if we can grow some nice Herbs.” Witch Aiko slowly nodded her head. She was curious if she could create multiple gardens with different climates that would allow them to grow all kinds of Herbs~!

“For now let’s clear them.” Yuqi couldn’t really drain the surroundings if there were so many enemies.

“Leave that to me~” Witch Aiko used that halberd the wrong way. She just kept tapping the walking flowers with the side, sending them flying far away.

“I think it would be a better idea to cut them.” Yuqi wished to find more seeds, but if Aiko kept sending them flying like that, it would be difficult to find them again.

“…” Witch Aiko didn’t like too much work. If she cut them down incorrectly, they would still keep hopping or crawling towards them. As you might expect, that was not ideal from someone who didn’t want to be in this place, much less explore it at this point.

“Please?” Yuqi made puppy eyes… not really befitting the Flower Demon rank.

“Fine…” Witch Aiko sighed. “I will see what I can do.” Those eyes didn’t really work on her. It was more of her curiosity trying to figure out why Yuqi wanted this.

Finally, Witch Aiko started to use her halberd in the right way, cutting all the enemies in their path very easily.

“That’s impressive.” Yuqi didn’t expect Aiko to be so proficient with such a weapon as most Human Cultivators used swords.

And as you might expect, Beasts followed suit, not because they wanted to, but because it was a lot cheaper than any other creation from humans…

Yuqi looked over the dead walking flowers. They were pretty battered up, but it was nothing that would concern Yuqi at this point. She was only looking for seeds and as long as those seeds were not cut in half, they could be salvaged in one way or another.

However, most of these strange flowers did not have any seeds whatsoever. They also kind of felt strange, like they were completely foreign to the word ‘flower’.

“I don’t like this place.” Yuqi concluded that she should share Aiko’s sentiment, since only like 1% of those fuckers were worth anything.

“Can we leave?” Witch Aiko asked her.

“How do you intend to do that?” Yuqi rolled her eyes.

“I have my ways, so quickly decide if it’s worth staying or not.” Witch Aiko rolled her eyes. Everyone was so doubtful, even when she had the perfect means of escape!

In this case those would be [Jaws of ####]. They were pretty much a staple for Aiko to get out of a sticky situation, and you didn’t even need ground under yourself to be able to ‘cast’ it.

It would take a strange form in the air, but that was fine, since it still allowed her to move away from this place and into the safety of her temporary base~!

Ezy

I will rest a bit more before doing anything bigger, to make sure I’m not sick from it >.>
