Chapter Index

The kiss isn’t just a simple peck. It’s passionate and deep, completely inconsiderate of the people around.

At first, Zakira instinctively jumps, trying to push me back weakly, but I keep her in place with one of my hands resting behind her head and the other on her ass. It takes a moment for her to register what’s happening properly, but once it does, she kisses me back with so much enthusiasm that it overshadows mine.

Surprisingly, she doesn’t seem to feel any shame at all.

After a moment, I slightly open my right eye to see the reaction of the audience to my audacity. Lucias, who was about to say something, is frozen in place with his mouth hanging open. It’s as if someone has hit a pause button on him. Even Marianne is looking at me dumbfoundedly. She clearly did not expect me to do something so daring.

But surprisingly, they do not immediately stop our kiss. As we continue, Zakira becomes increasingly out of control. She wraps herself around me, pressing her soft and voluptuous body against mine, kissing almost as if she’s trying to eat my face. Maybe she even is.

This goes on for so long without interruption that for a second, I assume that Lucias might have accepted this relationship.

But then it happens…

The very floor we’re standing on begins to shake. This makes me almost stumble back and separate from Zakira’s lips, but thankfully, she holds on.

Lucias has come out of his frozen state, and he is looking at me with pure bloodlust in his eyes. Not the kind of bloodlust a Vampire has, but that of a father seeing his daughter getting cozy and intimate with a man he doesn’t approve of.

There’s dangerous energy emanating from his body that is responsible for shaking the whole room. The same energy is also gathering on the palm of his hand that he has raised towards me.

Shit, is he actually—

“No, you cannot hurt him!”

Quick as a flash, Mariannes jumps in front of Lucias and us with her arms raised. Her expressions are stern, and her tone is absolute.

“But… But he is…!” Lucias struggles to word out what I am doing.

Kissing his daughter, that is.

“Lucias…” Marianne adds a bit of warning to her tone.

With great reluctance, Lucias closes his palm, dissipating the energy. He then folds his hands and glares at Marianne.

“Look at the nerve of this bastard! He’s still not stopping! Make him get away from Zaki, or I don’t know what I will do!” He growls at her.

“Let me handle this,” Marianne says, turning back to look at us lovebirds.

“Okay, we get that you both are in a relationship. No need to prove it to us any further.”

“They’re NOT in a relationship!” Lucias barks, but another glance from Marianne makes him pipe it down.

“As I said, we understand. You both can stop now,” she continues calmly.

Hearing this, Zakira starts to back off, apparently satisfied with the outcome. But I am not done yet. I pull her closer and keep going.

“Maybe you both can stop for now and continue somewhere more private?” Marianne suggests awkwardly.

“NO THEY CANNOT!” Lucias hits the chair next to him in anger, making it explode into pieces.

But I ignore them.

“Jacob…?”

“THAT’S ENOUGH! I AM BLASTING THIS BASTARD—”

[Ting! Two minutes complete! Points for kissing a girl in front of her parents are received!]

I quickly push Zakira away, finally ending the kiss. I always wanted to try this Temporary method once, and I couldn’t have found a better opportunity than this… or so I would like to believe.

“Jacob, I think we should leave…” Zakira whispers, noticing the expression on her father’s face.

“You stole the words right out of my mouth!”

“STAY RIGHT THERE!”

Zakira and I swiftly dash out of the room as Marianne barely holds back the erupting Lucias once again. We only stop after entering the lift.

“That was fun,” I say with a wheezing laugh, my heart hammering in my chest due to the adrenaline.

“It was,” Zakira agrees with a chuckle. “A bit too high on the shock value, but perfect for my dad. Only things like these can help him understand that I’ve grown up, and that he should treat me and my decisions as such.”

“Glad to be of help then!”

*thap* *thap* *thap* *thap*

“Yes… just like that… nhan!”

Layla moans beneath me as I pound away her pussy in missionary.

After coming back from the fiasco with Lucias and Marianne, Zakira and I went to Miss Laura’s room, where everyone was still gathered and discussing the war announcement broadcast. I basically dropped Zakira there and picked Layla up to come with me.

This war, Zakira’s dad, and all the other problems in my life— they’re all secondary. The most important thing I need to do is to make Layla pregnant. And I cannot slack off doing that. Every time I can find or create an opportunity to nut in her, I’ll do it.

“I am cumming,” I groan a moment later, semen bursting out from my penis and filling up Layla’s womb.

After making sure that I’ve released every last drop inside, I give Layla a final kiss before standing up and getting dressed.

“Do you really think this works?” I ask, looking at Layla as she keeps lying down naked with her legs and waist raised weirdly.

“Not sure, but it’s worth trying,” she answers with a shrug.

“Also, I am thinking about checking in daily with the Palace doctors. They can probably tell if I’m pregnant or not using magic. Normal pregnancy tests will take weeks to detect anything positive.”

“No need for that. I will find out immediately when you get pregnant,” I tell her.

“Oh… that…”

Yes, my system.

“Anyway, I am going out for a walk. If you need anything, I can bring it for you.”

“No, I’m fine. See ya!”

Leaving Layla to do her post-coitus ritual, I leave the tree palace for a casual walk outside. To be honest, I’ve been quite curious about the reaction of the Elven public to the war announcement, as this place is basically the epicentre of it.

It’s evening already, and the sun is starting to set. As I walk down a few blocks towards the market area, I cannot help but fall in love with the beauty of this city. Shimmering magical lights and lamps places aesthetically on the streets and around the tree houses/shops, stone pathways that leads from main road into small and cute alleys, and just the general nature-filled vibe is amazing.

To my surprise, I cannot really sense the panic in the air that I was expecting. Yes, none of the elves I see on the street look quite as carefree as I saw them a few days ago, and I do see groups of elves here and there, huddled together and whispering to each other with serious expressions— probably discussing the recent war news.

But still, it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. I think the Leaders successfully managed to tame the public reaction. Another factor, as Zakira told us, is that the war isn’t an immediate concern. It isn’t something that will start today or tomorrow.

As I walk further and enter the main city centre, I notice a familiar face entering a café nearby.

“Isn’t that… what was her name again? Saria?” I wonder.

She’s the one who dueled Ilyrana and lost badly. I saw a glimpse of her face just now, and man, does she ever not look angry?

Well, who cares?

The café she went into does look quite nice though, and I am feeling a bit hungry. It’s quite tempting to grab a bite there.

Well, let’s go in. It’s not like I have to interact with that girl. She probably won’t even recognize me.
